Summit at macro level looks like the moon

008I may be close to obsession when it comes to lichen, moss and rock. How – how? – does a mountain summit in coastal Maine resemble the moon? Back at the water, I sway on a steel float and wait to catch the boat. The moon pushes the water at me and everything else, and pulls it back just as quick. I am like a wave in the water, and proud to be a part of such a grand earth. I still can’t figure out why lichen seems like it belongs in space.
